Construction Trades is a certificate program that prepares students for entry level jobs in construction and related industries. Students work in a lab setting and learn the basics of construction with an emphasis on safety, leadership and teamwork.

Students will explore the expanding array of careers within the construction industry, and will be exposed to the construction workplace throughout job site tours, hands-on experience, and classroom activities, and possible internships. Math and science application will be established throughout the academic integration of job site technical skills and classroom theory.

Construction students will also have the opportunity to learn and apply their skills at Boulder Mod- a modular factory that produces homes in collaboration with the City of Boulder and Flatirons Habitat for Humanity. Learn more here.
