Would you like a creative career? Do you enjoy styling hair?
The hairstyling industry provides limitless career options. In this program, students will learn hairstyling basics, practice working in a safe and sanitary salon setting, and learn job-ready skills like management, ethics, and sales. If students choose to progress to the second year of the program, they will continue to develop their skills and learn more intermediate and advanced theory and application. Students that complete all levels of the Hairstyling program (1200 hours minimum) will be eligible to take the Colorado State Board of Barber and Cosmetology Licensure Exam for Hairstylists.
